In order to build trust, we want our policies and processes on certain important issues to be clear. For example, our:

Compliance with the law
We are committed to complying with all laws and codes (like the ISPA Code) that apply to Didrix Hosting. For example, we take our responsibility to comply with data protection laws (like the GDPR and POPIA) seriously. We are also committed to helping you to comply with your regulatory obligations.

We also respect that the law (like PAIA) requires us to give certain people access to information in certain circumstances. Our Access to Information Manual (or PAIA Manual) sets out how you can request access.
What does unlimited mean?
Unlimited means that Didrix Hosting does not impose a quota limit.
Traffic costs have persistently declined over time, to the extent that they are no longer the first point of constraint. The server hardware infrastructure has now assumed that role.
How will I know that my website is not suited to a shared hosting server?
It can be difficult to determine the threshold upfront. We actively monitor server performance and, if necessary, will contact you to discuss alternative options.
When a single website compromises shared server performance it has outgrown that environment. Our experience has shown that this occurs infrequently.
Causes range from coding inefficiencies, poor security maintenance practices and high demand or a combination. Where no gains in efficiency can be made, a Managed Server is a natural outcome.
It is also important to observe our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
What happens to my website if it is deemed unsuitable for a shared hosting environment?
We will contact you proactively to discuss a suitable course of action and implementation timeframe.
In an emergency, our priority is to protect the integrity of the server for all other customers. In such a case, we may temporarily suspend your website but will be equally pressed to ensure that your services are reinstated as soon as reasonably possible.
